Danielle High
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 12 years of experience. I know reaching out for help can be daunting and overwhelming. I am here to make this process easier for you. I have worked with individuals and families from differing backgrounds. My counseling style is strength-based, meaning I like to focus on the many positive traits you already possess, and work collaboratively to help you reach the goals you want to achieve. I have extensive experience working with individuals that have experienced trauma, attachment disruptions, depression, anxiety, phobias, LGBTQIA+ issues, non-monogamous relationships, and ADHD. I see individuals ranging in ages from 16 years old and up. In my free time, I enjoy tending to my houseplants, gardening, hiking and practicing yoga.

Hi and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been providing therapy services for 10 years. I have a background in treating individuals who have experienced trauma, are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. I can also help with life transitions, lack of motivation, and struggles with self-esteem. I have specialized experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and those who identify as non-monogamous.
I pride myself in being a compassionate and enthusiastic counselor. I believe judgement has no place in therapy. We will work together to determine the best treatment for you. Seeking counseling services is a big step and I commend you on your choice to start this journey! I look forward to walking this path with you. I see individuals ranging in ages from 16 years old and up. In my free time, I enjoy reading tarot, hiking, and walking our sweet dog.
Our Story
Community Wellness Counseling was started by us – Danielle and Lauren. We met as counselors and bonded over our love of the St. Louis community, providing therapeutic services, and social justice. Through this bond, the idea for a counseling practice with a focus on community wellness and support, with acceptance and inclusion of all, was born. As partners in practice and in life, we are proud to serve the incredible St. Louis community, and call it our home.
